The GOED-AOCS Nutraceutical Oils Laboratory Proficiency Program (LPP) series is the world most respected proficiency testing program for Omega-3 fatty acids. It is recommended that Omega-3 analyzing laboratories participate in this proficiency testing program to evaluate and demonstrate the proficiency of their testing abilities. The program addresses several important quality parameters in addition to the quantification of EPA, DHA and total Omega-3 fatty acids in both fish and algae-derived oils and allows the proficiency testing of a wide range of ingredient forms that are relevant to the nutraceutical market.
